Our obligations extend to any contractors we may use in the provision of our services to you. All officers, employees and contractors of GO Health Reception are required to work according to the Privacy Principles and to treat personal information they may see with care and confidentiality. Any breach of these requirements would be a breach of contract.

2. Why does GO Health Reception collect Information?

The information collected and stored by GO Health Reception is for a purpose that is lawful and directly related to the activity of GO Health Reception – that is, to provide support to your business service. Information is obtained for the following purposes and all purposes associated with them:

a) To provide your practice with reception, administration, marketing and billing services;
b) To schedule appointments for patients
c) To take all relevant patient identification details and input them directly into your business software solutions (customer relationship management) data files and systems.
Information will be collected directly from you, your employees and or contractors or your patients unless you make GO Health Reception aware of incoming information from third parties, such as referrals, pathology or x-ray results.

3. Security of the information

Our use of the business software solutions (customer relationship management) programs will ensure that electronic information, including your patients health records, are stored securely and access is only granted to authorised personnel. Similarly, we have systems in place to ensure the protection of hard copy information in accordance with the Privacy Principles. Therefore, your and your patients information is protected against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure or any other misuse. We comply with the Data Breach Response and Notification Procedures.

4. Making sure your information is accurate

We will ensure that record keeping is accurate and up-to-date to enable you to conduct your practice at a highly professional standard. As humans physically typing information received often by ear or in translation prevents a 100% accuracy guarantee.

Information used on or in your business service remains your business responsibility to be timely supplied to Go Health Reception. We many contact you or take other reasonable steps to ensure that your information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

Voice recording information is only stored in our third party secured data centre for a maximum 4 days before automatic deletion based on international time clock.

Correction: If you believe that any information we hold on you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us by email. We rely in part upon customers advising us when their personal information changes.  We will respond to any request within a reasonable time.  We will endeavor to promptly correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

5. Accessing the information

We may be able to assist you in circumstances where your patients requests access to their information. There may be reasonable administration costs involved in assisting you to provide them with such access, which we will inform you of as soon as practicable. In special circumstances, under the applicable provisions of privacy legislation dealing with access to documents, you may refuse a patient access to their records.

6. How will GO Health Reception use and disclose personal information?

Go Health Reception will use your information in a way that is consistent with, or directly related to, the purpose for which it is collected.

We are committed to ensuring that the information you provide is secure. Offsite data storage is used to store inbound voice recordings for maximum of 4 days based on international clock. Wav. File communications are automatically emailed to your business for review and you have confirmed in your business to not use for training or advertising purposes without the consent of every party within a call recording.
